I'm a female, married, Midwestern graphic designer who's really way too old for all this fandom stuff. I've been an avid fan of anime and manga for well over a decade, and have a major interest in fan works: fanfiction, fanart, and doujinshi. I've been a science fiction and fantasy fan for double that, and a video gamer since the days of the Atari 2600. When I'm not geeking out to the above, I spend my time drawing, writing, cooking, and reading the more highbrow stuff like dry historical non-fiction.

ANIME/MANGA   

I am a big fan of classic anime and manga from the 70s onwards as well as the more recent stuff. Most of my recent favorites are shounen or seinen, but I also enjoy plenty of shoujo and josei works.
