More RP stuff...and Italy!

scorched , and I'm loving it so far. It's really giving me the opportunity to indulge in Sasori's more bastardly side, and the Naruto cast is just lovely (even if most of them hate Sasori's guts.)
I also really, really need to catch up atxi_rpg .
Also fellow RPers, do you listen to any particular music while RPing? I notice I tend to listen to music that seems to fit the mood of the setting depending on what game I'm tagging for, so I listen to more upbeat things (The Fratellis, The New Pornographers, Belle and Sebastian, etc) when tagging at XI and moodier stuff (Radiohead, Sigur Rós, Massive Attack) for Scorched.
On another note, I wonder if any of you flisters have ever been to Italy/have friends or family who've been there? I'm heading to Rome and Florence for a week with my hubby for our anniversary in a couple months, and would love to hear more ideas of great places to visit/great restaurants etc.

Even though I've dropped at Kannagara, I'm still throwing myself into RP. I'm a crazy person and reserved both Sasori over atscorched , and, on a complete whim, Nekozawa from Ouran over at xi_rpg ; there is one more character for XI that I may app this time around too, if I have time to work on it.
Have I mentioned just how crazy I am about XI?

Heck yeah, my Sasori application got accepted over at xi_rpg ! Now if I ever finish making icons for it, I can maybe start playing...
If you haven't checked out the game, it's an X-Men flavored game set in a parallel Marvel comics universe that boils down to high school...with mutants! It's quite active, lots of characters from many different fandoms, and the folks are friendly and fun.

Dec. 6th, 2009 02:49 pmSo I've been finding my time spent lately RPing over at kannagara_rpg . Naturally, this means my fic and art efforts have been a bit neglected lately (although I've been working on that stuff slowly, I swear.)
I have come up with the ideal solution to this problem: reserving Sasori over atxi_rpg , so I'll have two games taking up all my time instead of just one. Excellent work, self.
Of course, it isn't my fault, I swear.maiiau made me do it, with her diabolical ways of showing me lulzy XI threads and brainstorming with me and stirring up my long-dormant X-Men fangirl tendencies.
Have I mentioned she is also primarily responsible for my now shipping SasoDei like it's my job? She will pay for all of this...somehow. >:|
...And I'm considering a few other games, too:scorched , thewake_rp , thedollsyhouse , betenoire_rp . I wouldn't necessarily play Sasori at all of these, I have a few other muses I'm working on developing. If any of you fine flisters are in these games or have heard about them, give me your opinions/experiences. ♥
I'm working on three fic projects right now that are coming along despite my failure at planning:
- A quickie30_lemons Regression-verse fic for the Hypothermia prompt (2/3 done, I need to buckle down and finish this.)
- Chapter two of Shogi
- A little DeiSaku+Sasori smut prompt that mutated into a weird SasoSakuDei/SasoDeiSaku/SomethingSomethingSomething, forflibbergibbet
Also, a random music note: I am crazily in love with this album and can't stop listening to it. It has just the right classic rock flavor to be terribly addictive.

Jul. 19th, 2009 11:50 amIf you've noticed that I haven't been around very much lately, it's because my Sasori application was accepted over at kannagara_rpg , and I've been having loads of fun playing! The game is really ramping up now, as the Akatsuki is planning an all-out assault on Konoha. Plus there's trolling, and drunken threesomes, and angst, and weird bonding going on. The writing level is truly top-notch as well, with so many excellent writers contributing!
Currently they're looking for more players as well, particularly female characters, and characters from non-Naruto fandoms (like say, Avatar.) Although it would be great to see a Sai, or a Tsunade, or the Sandsibs, or Ino, or Hidan/Kakuzu etc etc. You can check out the last review post to get an idea of the sort of action that goes on in the game.
