ZOMG it's my first time getting tagged for a meme. Yay zelha ! :D

1. Your fav fandom?

Naruto, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Skip Beat!, Final Fantasy VII


2. Your fav pairing(s)? Why?

I could go on and on about all the Naruto pairings I love, but I'll restrict it to my top 3.

Sasori/Sakura (Naruto) - Pretty much my OTP because they're so damned smexy together, there is so much interesting potential psychological depth to their relationship, and I find Sasori to be a fascinating character to write.

Sai/Sakura (Naruto) - because Sai is simply adorable, and I think it's one of the few Sakura pairings I like that really would work in canon.

Kakashi/Sakura (Naruto) - they'd work very well together, and it's super sexy to boot.

Zoro/Nami (One Piece) - I shipped them from the moment they first appeared together, I just love their interplay.

Ren/Kyoko (Skip Beat!) - he's refreshingly mature for a shoujo romantic male lead, and they are wonderfully supportive of each other.

Reno/Tifa (Final Fantasy VII) - because she needs someone who can make her laugh after dealing with emo!Cloud for so long.

Karluk/Amira (Otoyomegatari) - Their developing relationship is so subtly romantic and sweet, it just fills me with joy and leaves me in a great mood every time I read a new chapter.

Watanuki/Zashiki Warashi (xxxHOLIC) - They're incredibly cute together, I don't get why nobody seems to ship them!

Tom Riddle/Luna Lovegood (Harry Potter) - Because their minds work so very differently, their potential interactions are fascinating.

Marco/Gina (Porco Rosso) - It's a wonderful, subtle, sweet romance. I still tear up during the flashback sequence of their first flight. It's also a movie that I appreciate more and more as I get older; if you haven't watched it in a while, revisit it.


3. Pairing(s) you hate the most? Why?

Sasuke/Sakura (Naruto) - because he simply doesn't deserve her.

Sho/Kyoko (Skip Beat!) - ditto, he treated her like shit, no do-overs allowed, and I reject the very idea of her crawling back to him with every fiber of my being.

Watanuki/Doumeki (xxxHOLIC) - it's not so much that I hate them, I just don't get it, at all. I love their interaction as friends, but there is just zero romantic tension there.


4. First fic ever?

A cheesy, embarrassing, purple prose-y SasoSaku dream sequence fic that will never get posted anywhere because it makes me cringe when I even think about it.


5. Genre(s) suit you the most?

I want to say action/adventure, humor, romance, more...but it seems like it's smut, lol.


6. Numbers of your fics when you do this meme?

5 posted, 1 definitely ongoing. I also have 4 or so longer storylines in the works along with a smattering of oneshots.


7. Your fav author(s)? Why?

For Naruto I could go on forever (if you're on my f-list, I love your fics!) but I will again restrict it to just 3: ronsmyhero, paws_bells, OrigamiGirl. For Labyrinth, Viciously Witty, for her amazing Jareth/Sarah fic The Goblin Market. BellonaBellatrix for her wonderful but unfinished Tom/Luna stories. For FF7, iknowthewords for her Turks stories, particularly the fantastic Reno/Tifa story Water Under the Bridge.


8. Ever thought your own fics are good?

I'm quite happy with how Tactile Feedback turned out in the end.


9. Ever received critics for your fics? Did that affect you?

Not really, I generally don't get that many reviews. I would welcome it, as long as it's constructive criticism, because I'm still very new to fiction writing.


10. Are you famous amongst the other authors?

Doubtful, I'm a n00b. :)

I've just gotten into Belle and Sebastian recently, they're great. (Also, I loved the anime based on their namesake book as a kid too, lol.)

I love Reno/Tifa, I even wanted them to hook up when I was originally playing FF7 way back when it came out, before I knew what shipping even was. :)

I've kind of wanted to write a "Tifa joins the Turks" Reno/Tifa AU fic for awhile, but a decent plotline eludes me.

I really love the plausibility of Sai/Sakura. He'd like and respect her and she'd get some of the benefits of the sasuke-type (hotness, highly skilled) without the downsides (Sai actually WANTS to be in a relationship with her).

Word. I actually wouldn't mind if Sasuke came back and Team 7 became bffs again, but I would HATE IT SO MUCH if he and Sakura got together.

Agreed. Sai himself embodies all the Sasuke traits that I like without the ones I don't (petulance, emo brooding.) I also like that Sakura has no qualms about showing her aggressive, bitchy side around Sai, it makes it feel like they could have a real, honest relationship; she was always too solicitous around Sasuke. I think I started shipping them right when she clocks him for badmouthing Sasuke. :)

Yeah, having him come back and be pals would be all right, but a romance would suck. I think I've become rather fond of him as a villain, though. I rather liked him in his first appearance in Shippuden, where he comes across as pretty menacing. I keep ending up using him as a villain in my fics because of that, I think.

I did start writing a ficlet based around that Sasori & Sasuke conversation idea we chatted about. Sasuke lovers would probably hate it. :D

I think I've become rather fond of him as a villain, though. I rather liked him in his first appearance in Shippuden, where he comes across as pretty menacing. I keep ending up using him as a villain in my fics because of that, I think

The other reason I've been using him as a villain in a couple of the Sasori/Sakura fics I'm working on, because his connection to Orochimaru also dovetails nicely with Orochimaru as Sasori's archenemy. And also, because he deserves a good beating from Sakura. I'm definitely in the Sannin parallels camp when it comes to Sakura being the one that has to defeat Sasuke if it comes to that, not Naruto. So he does suffer in my fics, but I doubt Kishimoto would do that, sadly.

That means I will probably love it. ^_^

I hope so, although I worry that Sasori is being the mouthpiece of the author a little too much, lol.

I have to think a bit more about how Sasori and Itachi related to each other, though.

I'm crazily in love with this show for many reasons. The voice acting is so great on top of the other stuff. :)
